For restaurants, besides my own Aruba Bound! website,
check out Restaurants Aruba Dining Guide.
We like gourmet dining and do not have any closer than a 45 minute drive from our home, so do like to splurge on vacation and do eat soup to nuts.
Our favorite Aruba restaurant is Gasparito Restaurant & Art Gallery. They serve local Dutch/Aruban cuisine and as it says in their name, also serves as an Art Gallery. Works of local artists are on display, most of which are available for sale.
Based on the recommendation of Fodor's, we ate there on our first land vacation to Aruba in 1995 and have been back twice a trip, every trip since.

Link: Delta to add red tags to some luggage
The Associated Press
Published on: 03/02/08
Passengers of Delta Air Lines' international flights will soon be seeing lots of red tags.
Starting this weekend, the Atlanta-based airline is issuing the red tags to keep track of approved carry-on luggage.
Spokeswoman Betsy Talton says the purpose of the new plan is to maximize overhead compartment storage space for passengers.
She says there are no plans in the works to use the tags for domestic flights.
Delta officials will place the red tags on carry-on luggage at the check-in counter or the gate.
The airline currently allows each passenger to bring aboard one piece of luggage with total length, width and height dimensions of no more than 45 inches and a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
Passengers may also bring aboard another small item, such as a briefcase, purse or tote bag.
Is Aruba For Families?
Aruba is definitely a family island. Aruba does not even offer any advertised "couples only" resorts. Admittedly, there are two resorts which have certain towers which are "adult only", but this is far from the norm.
